Free Ways To Get Freebies

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010

Offering free samples is probably one of the smartest ways for companies to get their new product out there and known. You might be wondering why companies would go through so much trouble using what seems to be a non cost effective way to draw in customers. With competition between so many producers being today what is is, manufacturers have had to search out new and inventive ways to promote their new products.

We are all used to by now the slightly louder than average commercial on television advertising some new product or another, promising their product is the better of all the selections. Most even go so far as to compare their product to another well known brand, claiming theirs beat out the best. Companies now need that extra edge to keep the consumers consuming.

That is why free samples are one of the best routes to successful advertising. How else are you going to convince your product is superior without handing out free trials and letting the consumer see for themselves? Giving people something for nothing greatly increases the companies stance in popularity. With every little extra bottle of baby lotion attached to that container of shampoo, people will grow to love that brand.

Free samples also have a unique way of helping retailers attract customers. If word gets around that a store is handing out free samples of this and that, people will come. It used to be just a nibble of a brownie or a taste of a dip. Now people are being offered writing utensils and sample packs of different products when they walk through that door. Nothing beats that incredible first impression.

After hearing so much about the good free samples offer to all, I’m sure you are quite eager to get your hands on some. What better way to find said free samples than to utilize the most common and simple means out there? Searching on the internet is probably one of the most profitable means of obtaining free samples, but beware, there are sharks in the water.

The easiest way would be to do a simple organic search for freebies in a search engine. At first, this seems to be the most direct and simple way to find free samples. That may be misleading. Don’t get me wrong, there are a great many sites and blogs out there that help gather links to various free samples. Unfortunately, along with these helpful sites, there are also many malicious ones. These malicious sites use free samples to lure web surfers to their site in order to blast them with advertising.

With every bad site though, you are sure to find plenty that offer lists upon lists of free samples, most being organized by type of product be it makeup, grocery or cleaning supplies. There are many that even include a free newsletter that you can sign up with to receive updates when new free samples appear for the taking.

I would recommend going directly to the manufacturer’s website to search for free offers or promotions. Most have a tab labeled as such right in there menu. As with free sample gathering websites, almost all the major brands have free newsletters to join as well, helping you to keep informed of all the goodness they have to offer.

If you are looking and looking and some of your favorite products appear to have no current rebates or offers, another way to request a free sample would be to write them in regards to one. One of the most fruitful efforts of a letter come with complimenting the company on their product. If you let them know how much you truly love and use their product everyday, you are sure to receive some reward by being such a loyal costumer. The lesser taken road could be to write a complaint. If you are put off by their “high prices” or “lack of quality”, you may be offered an incentive to give their product a second chance.

One thing’s for sure, if you follow any, or all, of the tips in this article, you are sure to find your mailbox filled with various free samples on a daily basis.

Would you more in formation on free samples without surveys, you should stop and see this site, free product samples.

Show Friends How Much Can You Save With Coupons

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

Showing someone the magic of coupon clipping is an incredible experience! Once someone takes advantage of this easy way to save money, they can quickly become avid fans. And it’s no wonder! When people find out how much can you save with coupons, some refuse to shop without coupons ever again.

Plenty! A real coupon addict won’t even buy a product other than every day necessities unless she has a coupon for it. Years ago coupons were mainly for grocery items, and more often than not, they were limited to being issued in order to introduce a new product, making it more appealing for consumers to try something unknown and unproven. After all, what reason could you possibly have for trying another frozen TV dinner if you were already happy with the brand you’d been buying for years?

Companies quickly realized money talks, and many housewives were happy to swap allegiance for 15 cents.

Nowadays, coupons are available for virtually anything. Products from peanut butter to beer, nail polish to lumber. High end boutiques have very generous coupons at holiday time, and even the local “dollar stores” have started to print some very valuable coupons such as $5 off a $25 purchase. You’re already getting good buys to begin with, but saving another $5 off already inexpensive merchandise is a deal most people can’t pass up.

Recently, a local and well known grocery store chain had a superb dinner deal that said if you buy a family sized frozen entree, you would get for free a loaf of garlic bread, a bag of vegetables, a half gallon of ice cream, and a two liter bottle of soda.

Large department stores mail coupons, print coupons, and have online coupons for various amounts, but usually something along the lines of 20% off any purchase. Find some sale merchandise you can’t live without, and you could walk away with savings over $50 on one item, especially if you’re buying high end clothing or kitchen appliances.

Cut out and keep every coupon you can find. You’ll never know when you might in fact need that 30% off carpet cleaning coupon, or 20% off a birthday cake. At least give it to a friend or neighbor who is in need!

The fios promo code is available right now and it will give you an instant discount on its broadband services.

Free Mobile Phones

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

So many people these days live in poverty and paycheck to paycheck. They can barely make enough money to feed themselves and their family. Because of this, there are social programs that try to help.

One government program that is gaining traction is the free mobile phone program. The purpose of this program is to allow people to have a phone which they can use for emergencies if they cannot afford their own phone.

If you want to get a free cell phone, you have to get qualified first. This can be done by calling up the cell phone provider and seeing if you qualify. Your income is used for the basis for qualification. But if you are already getting other government benefits like food stamps, then you will be able to get a free phone too.

Although the phone is free, there is a limit imposed on the minutes that can be used for free. Depending on the state in which you live in, the amount of minutes that you can use for free is around an hour each month.

Also, free mobile phones may not last for all time. Since it is to be used specifically for people in poverty, after you make more than the maximum income requirements, then you cannot use the free mobile phones anymore.

To get free mobile phones, you have to find a mobile phone provider that has this program. Many states may not have this program yet since it is fairly new.

After you find a carrier that gives free cell phones, fill out their application. Provide to them the necessary documentations showing that you are eligible for the cell phones. You can show your pay stubs or W2s.

Be sure you keep track of your minutes used every month. You do not want to run out of minutes when you really need it most. Check the amount of minutes you have used frequently each month. You can even make a schedule detailing how many minutes you can use each week.

Free Cell Phones For The Disabled

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

Disabled people often live on low income. This is due to them being unable to work due to their disability and therefore can only receive SSI.

With their limited income, disabled people cannot afford more luxurious services such as cell phones. Yet, disabled people can really benefit from having a cell phone. Cell phones can be used in times of emergencies.

Since many disabled people cannot afford a cell phone, the government has stepped in and helped. Now you can get a free cell phone if your income is in the low income bracket. If you are participants of other programs like housing assistance then you will qualify for a free phone too.

These free cell phones have about 60 minutes of free talk time. Anything over that and you would have to buy minutes. Depending on the state that you are in, that would determine that exact amount of minutes that you get for free.

Free cell phones for the disabled are not free forever. Once you are not considered low income anymore, then you cannot use the cell phones for free. The cell phone company has to check your income every year.

You can sign up for a free cell phone through Safelink. The program is not yet available in all states so you should check on their website to see if your state has the program already.

Fill out the application at Safelink Wireless and provide to them the necessary documentations showing that you are eligible for the cell phones. You will need to show your pay stubs, W2s, tax returns, and a letter from your employer.

Watch the amount of minutes you use each month. Since the amount of minutes you have to use are limited, you want to save them for true emergencies. You can save up the unused minutes and it will roll over each month.

Alana Ching has helped many people with disabilities apply for free cell phones for disabled people. For more information on how you can apply, please visit her website.
