There are so many great things about Manhattan. From the liveliness to the convenience and the outright beauty of the city itself, residents and travelers alike fall in love with New York.

Each neighborhood has its own special feel to it, making things really great for those who have a wide variety of interests.

Every neighborhood is truly unique, and the restaurants, stores, bars, and other things that come with a neighborhood really vary depending on where you are. It’s almost as if each one is its own city within a city.

Anyway, I’d like to briefly look at some of the best Manhattan neighborhoods, giving reasoning for my opinions behind each of these. If you plan on traveling to New York any time soon, I’d definitely suggest giving these a go.

I’d like to open this article up with a mention of the East Village, probably my favorite neighborhood of them all. Having spent some time living there, I’ve never fallen out of love with this great neighborhood.

The East Village could really keep you busy forever. Every block is lined with exciting restaurants of all kinds, interesting shops, fun bars, and more. Things in this part of the city stay open late into the night.

If you want to try something a bit more subdued, the West Village is very similar in terms of its offerings, but a little more laid back. The tree lined blocks here add a lot of character to the neighborhood, and it’s one of the city’s most scenic areas.

If you’re looking for more of an educational experience where you see landmarks, museums, and historical sights, then you might really enjoy the Upper West side of Manhattan. This is home to things like Rockefeller Center, Central Park, many museums, and near Times Square as well.

These are a few of the many great neighborhoods in Manhattan. I could go on all day with more ideas, but we’ll leave it at this for now!

Christopher Columbus, one of most famous explorers, fell in love with the Dominican Republic at first sight. He described it as paradise, a very apt description of an island of beauty and wonder.

The vast expanses of golden sands and luxurious yet affordable hotels are just two of the many things that make Punta Cana so appealing. You are literally spoilt for choice here if you like to go all inclusive on your vacations.

In the north of the Dominican Republic, you will find the classy and elegant Puerto Plata, which is also brimming with resorts that offer the inclusive option. Add to this the vast sandy expanse known as the Playa Dorada beach, and you can see why Puerto Plata is so popular.

Although the choice of resorts where you can stay all inclusive is more limited than in other places, La Romana is nevertheless very popular. There is a fascinating museum there full of articles from the past and also the highly enjoyable boat trip to Catalina Island.

A visit to the island’s capital city, Santo Domingo is also well worth a visit. The Cathedral here is rated as the new world’s oldest, and there is also a good array of places of where you can stay all inclusive. As this is also America’s oldest city, there is a great deal of history.

Wouldn’t it be easier if someone could just beam us to our intended location whenever traveling? After all, there’s so much to worry about and so much to do whenever we’re flying by air.

Every little thing turns into an ordeal. Between visiting the pharmacy to buy travel sized toiletries, paying for a ride to the airport, making sure our luggage bag will close, and more, everything can be really stressful to any traveler.

While some of these things are out of your control, the best way to avoid these situations is by planning in advance. If you take a few measures to ensure that you’re well prepared for your experience, your travel plans will be as pleasurable and as hassle free as possible.

I’m going to share two ideas that I believe you’ll benefit from as long as you make a few preparations in advance. The goal is to limit the number of headaches associated with air travel, and these two measures will help.

My first suggestion is to make sure that you don’t check any bags with the airline. You can do this by bringing a smaller back that meets carry on standards and allows you to bring everything onto the airplane.

The last thing you’ll want to do after getting off a long and annoying flight is to stand at the baggage check for a while, waiting for your luggage to suddenly appear on the belt. Bringing your own carry on bag is an obvious time saver in this regard.

If you haven’t flown in a while, you may be surprised to learn that very few flights actually come with free meals anymore. You’ll likely have to pay for what you get, and the food won’t be too great to begin with. I would recommend bringing some snacks with you onto your flight.

The good news is that there are more snack options available in airports than ever before, and bringing a few onto your flight will avoid the unnecessary hunger that many experience in the air. The same thing goes for water, as you should drink at least two bottles during your flight to avoid dehydration.

Bali is an interesting island in the Asian country of Indonesia. Just to give you an idea of the size of this culture rich island, the northern-most point of the island is fifty-five mails apart from the southern-most point of the country. Crossing the East to the West will require a ninety-mile trip.

The beautiful spots scattered around the island make the place worthy to be explored. There are hotels all over the island the island.

Between 25oo B.C and now, the population of Bali has grown greatly to over 3 million people. This is a stark difference from that time when the first settlers immigrated from china. The inhabitants are majority Hindus but there are also Muslims.

The coastal areas, which are towards the South, are populous, with Despansar, the island’s capital having a population of over 370,000 people.

There are thousands of jobs out of which the people of Bali can earn their bread. About one-half of Bali’s economy stems form textiles, handicraft trade and clothing, which is then sold to markets abroad.

In Bali, the hotel and tourism industry is growing quite well. There has been a tourist boom because of the many activities. The sports are attractive to many vacation seekers. These activities include mountain climbing paragliding, cruising and rafting. Among the to-die-for spots, include Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Jimbaran, and Nusa Dua. Each of these tourist destinations in Bali has something nice to offer.

If you keep abreast with world affairs, you may remember the terrorist attacks in October 2002 also dubbed the ‘Bali bombings’. These caused great devastation locally. People lost assets and lives were lost. This naturally had a great effect on those people who had been planning to go there to visit. There is a constant fear that history may do the comeback.

The atmosphere right now in Bali and the attitudes the people work with are a fore shadow of a brighter tomorrow. The sheer determination with which Bali has adjusted and come a long way is encouraging even to the Balinese people themselves.
